alyson cohen – hindsight

Wow.  Jessica Simpson is not messing around with these shoes!  I’ll admit it, I tried them on.  Why?  Because I wanted to see what it the atmosphere was like 6 inches above where I normally stand.  Because I thought surely nobody can walk with their feet perpendicular to the ground.  Because the highest pair of heels I own these days is….well…flat.  I see shoes like this and I think…how far could I walk before falling over?  Honestly, I wish that I had worn fun shoes (maybe like these) when I was younger and didn’t have to worry about my hips locking up.  Of course when I was younger I was busy wearing the clunkiest, black, combat boot  shoes I could find.  So while I admire all the gorgeous Louboutins and Manolos, I will be forever in flats.
